Abstract

This article analyzes the formation and development of humanistic ideas in pedagogy and their role in the modern educational system. The main principles of humanistic pedagogy, including learner-centered education, respect for human dignity, freedom of thought, and creative approach, are discussed. The pedagogical opportunities of the humanistic approach in the development of students' personalities are also scientifically substantiated.
