Abstract

Language and orthography issues were among the main topics
covered in newspapers and journals published during the twentieth century. Analyzing
language-related issues discussed in these articles, B. Qosimov argues that, regardless of the
manner in which they were written, they served as a guiding beacon in the struggle for the
preservation and development of the national language.
